Security, privacy and control

Your life. Your data.

Cocoon is developed and operated by Voicecenta Ltd, a UK AI technology company. The service is UK-hosted, secure and designed to operate in compliance with UK data-protection requirements.

Cocoon is built to represent you—not monetise you. Your personal context is not sold or provided to external organisations for advertising, profiling, resale or their own unrelated commercial use.

The simple promise

Your life. Your data.

Cocoon may need personal context to represent you properly: the people who matter, your preferences, your availability, the permissions you have granted and the outcomes of approved interactions.

That information exists for one purpose: to help Cocoon understand you and represent you better. Voicecenta Ltd does not sell it, rent it, trade it or make it available to external organisations for their own advertising, profiling, resale or unrelated commercial use.

Permission comes first

Cocoon should never assume authority.

Your representative works inside permissions you choose. Access to information does not automatically create permission to disclose it, and permission for one interaction does not create unrestricted authority for the future.

  • Who may reach you
  • What information Cocoon may use
  • What information may be shared
  • Which routine actions may be completed
  • What always requires your approval
  • When control must return to you

Purpose-limited use

Your information is used for your Cocoon—not someone else’s business model.

Cocoon processes personal information only where it is needed to provide the service, maintain security, support the user or meet a legal obligation.

01

No data sales

Voicecenta Ltd does not sell or rent Cocoon users’ personal information.

02

No advertising profiles

Your personal context is not used to build unrelated advertising audiences.

03

No external commercial use

Your personal context is not provided to external organisations for their own advertising, profiling, resale or unrelated commercial purposes.

04

Service providers stay purpose-limited

Where a provider is needed to deliver Cocoon, it may process information only for that service and under appropriate data-protection safeguards.

05

No unnecessary collection

Cocoon should use only the context required for the features you enable.

Security by design

Personal context deserves serious protection.

Control is reversible

You can change your mind.

A permission should not become permanent simply because it was granted once. Users remain able to review, change and withdraw the authority given to Cocoon.

  • Review current permissions
  • Change how people or situations are handled
  • Remove access to selected information
  • Correct inaccurate personal context
  • Withdraw permission for an action
  • Request a copy of personal information
  • Request account and data deletion

Calls and conversations

Clear handling of recordings, transcripts and summaries.

Cocoon may process call audio, transcripts, summaries and interaction details where required to provide enabled call-handling features.

Voicecenta Ltd does not sell call recordings, transcripts or summaries, or provide them to external organisations for their own advertising, profiling, resale or unrelated commercial use.

Before launch, the policy will state clearly:

  • when calls are recorded or transcribed
  • how callers are informed where required
  • why the information is needed
  • who may access it
  • how long it is retained
  • how users can request deletion

Review and accountability

You should be able to understand what your representative did.

Where Cocoon handles an interaction, the user should be able to review the reason for contact, the information used, the relevant permission, the action taken and whether anything still needs attention.

A completed interaction loop returns visibly to the user for review and control.
